Magic beans and seeds

Note: This is food science.

What I am doing, is putting white beans and chia seeds in a bowl of water and food colouring. I’m doing this for fun. I think that the chia seeds and white beans will turn a lighter shade of the water colour.

Today i will let them soak and we’ll see the finished product tomorrow.

Paul Croteau’s Macarons of Deliciousness

These are macarons, in case you haven’t heard of them, they are cookies that have a filling. My Dad’s friend Paul, he makes these macarons.

I love them, they remind me of cookie heaven! My favourite flavour is Salted Caramel. It’s salty, and carmelly and awesome! You can get them at a cart in Oakridge Mall. That mall is big: very, very big

ButterMarsh Supreme

This dessert is creamy and delicious. It’s a summer dessert. It reminds me of dessert heaven!

Ingredients:

Vanilla Ice Cream

Coloured Marshmallows

Rainbow Sprinkles

Chocolate Sauce (optional)

Butterscotch Chips

Method:

Put two scoops of ice cream into a bowl. Then put the chocolate sauce, if you want the chocolate sauce. Then you put the rainbow marshmallows on, then put the sprinkles, then the butterscotch chips. It’s pretty easy, if you ask me!

Tomato Pasta

My Dad and I made this pasta. It tastes really good. We made the pasta from scratch. This is the first time I made pasta from scratch. My Dad taught me to make pasta. In my world, my Dad is the best pasta maker. This is the dough before we made the real tomato pasta. This dough is very stretchy. My hand is in that picture.

I like cooking with my Dad, that’s why I made this tomato pasta.

Sprinkle Split

This is one of the best banana splits. It tasted really good. I wish I had ten thousand of them. I think my Mom and Dad would like this. That’s why I made it! The sprinkles on this banana split are also good on toast, they are from Holland.

Christmas Cookies

My mom made these cookies. They are tasty and made with love. Molasses Spice Cookies, Pill Cookies, Ginger Shortbread, and Peanut Butter Cookies. My dad made Christmas dinner and my mom and I made the Cranberry Sauce. I hope you like it.

Fall Fruit Salad

I like the Fall Fruit Salad, it is tasty! It makes me think of fall. My favourite things about fall are Hallowe’en and my birthday. I was Indiana Jones for Hallowe’en. My favourite thing about Hallowe’en is that I got candy. The best thing about my birthday was that I had all my friends come over to my house.

This salad has persimmon, pomegranate and apple. I hope you like it.

Famous Vegetable Salad

This salad tastes good and it’s fresh. It’s healthy! I like this salad. I like it because it is fresh. I made the salad dressing and, no, I did not get it from a bottle. You could serve it with chips or you could serve it with olives. I hope you like it.
